So... I'll be heading home around late December to around the 1st or 2nd week of January. That affords me around 14-15 days stateside.
However, I'm thinking of taking detours either before I get home, after I leave home to come back to Japan, or a detour before I go home, go home, and take a mini-detour afterwards to see friends.
Having put that out, anyone want to provide a nice spot on the ground (or a couch) for a wandering sailor? I'm housebroken, I swear. I also know how to cook, clean, and am well mannered!
I don't get to be stateside often, so I want to try making this trip worthwhile.
Ah, the life of a sailor...

I'm working today, but no big deal. I'll be getting out at around 6pm, and that'll give me time to enjoy what Japan has to offer on Christmas day. They sure do love getting festive here.
Was at Starbuck's last night and I was writing in my little journal.
azumaril knows the journal I'm talking about. Anyways, I'm writing in it, and this Japanese lady, had to be around 22-26 (hard to tell) kept glancing at both what I was doing, and me. Everytime we met eyes, we'd stay locked for a bit, and then blink and look away. Man, I don't care how cold outside temperature was. When I blush, the room begins to cook. >_<;
This happened for the better part of an hour and then some. What made it more obvious that she was trying to see either what I was doing, or was curious about me, was that she remained on the same page of her book for about an hour straight. She'd thumb pages, and eventually go back to the original. The book was an instruction book on how to learn english.
I kinda regret not standing up and saying hello. I need to learn Japanese, and she needed to learn English. What better way, right? Haha, maybe she'll be at Starbuck's tonight. It's so relaxing to just end the evening there. Grab a hot coca, maybe a snack, and just write. I could write for hours there (and I have!).
I miss
seraaches a lot. Her and her husband, Stalder helped get me out of my shell a bit. Hoping they're having the time of their life back in the states. For now, though, I'll do what I can in Japan. This is the first Christmas away from the folks, and it's tough. Ah well. It'll make me a stronger person in the end. For now, it's time to relax until I have to work again in a few hours.
Merry Christmas, all!
